Ministry Opportunities

All sorts of exciting opportunities to make a difference exist at LifePoint Church!
Simply contact LifePoint for more info.

  • Adult Equipping Classes

Every Sunday at 9 am and 10:35 am as well as Wednesdays at 4 pm, there are a wide variety of equipping classes offered from adults.  Topics range from studies on parenting and marriage to finances, as well as in depth Bible studies.

  • Backpacks for Kids

Each year LifePoint provides over 250+ grade appropriate backpacks filled with school supplies for kids in the local community.  Whether picked up at the annual Backpack Picnic Event each August in partnership with Edgerton Elementary School, or picked up throughout the year by foster kids, refugees, or those experiencing homelessness, LifePoint loves blessing kids in this way!

  • Christmas Hope

Every Christmas, LifePoint partners with the Marines and local community partners to host a Toys for Tots distribution event!  Nearly a thousand people show up each year to participate in this joyous event.

Registration for this year's event is open from November 13-25.  Click here to register.  If you'd like to volunteer at this event or have questions, please contact 651-321-3240 or christmashope@lifepointmn.org

  • Community Care Room

The Community Care Room is a free resource offering gently used clothing and personal care items to individuals and families from the community who are facing a variety of life challenges.  People of all ages, ethnic and cultural backgrounds, abilities and challenges are welcomed and served with dignity and respect.  Available by appointment.  Call the Care Line at 651-705-6527.

  • Foster Family Support

LifePoint partners with Together for Good to provide resources, training and support for local foster families.  LifePoint children's ministry volunteers are trained and equipped to be able to minister to foster kids so foster parents and caregivers can feel at ease dropping off their children on Wednesdays and Sundays.  Home-cooked meals delivered to homes, backpacks filled with school supplies, clothing of all sizes for kids... all this and more as LifePoint strives to meet the needs of local foster families.

  • LifePoint Connections for Seniors

Connect with other senior citizens at LifePoint all throughout the year!  Events include weekly coffee hour (Thursdays at 10 am), regular luncheons, outings, and concerts.

  • LifePoint Go - Community Engagement

Every year, LifePoint devotes a Sunday morning to worshiping God through community service.  During our regular worship service times, we do a variety of service projects in our neighborhood.  Check out this video for more info.

  • Music Ministries at LifePoint

LifePoint Church offers a variety of music styles and experiences as an expression of worship and experience of God.  Whether you enjoy singing in a traditional choir, playing in an orchestra, or singing on stage, you can be a part of the vibrant music ministries at LifePoint Church!

  • Neighborhood Engagement Team (NET)

This team exists to put LifePoint's vision statement into action by “loving and serving our world.” Throughout the year this team provides various opportunities for the church community to engage with our neighborhood through outreach, service, education and fellowship.

  • Neighbors Helping Neighbors

This team of leaders and lay people is ready to respond to a variety of needs, whether those needs are in the church community or in the neighborhood.

  • Refugee Ministries

LifePoint Church is strategically located in the midst of a local refugee community.  Refugees from Burma live just blocks from the church.  Each week, LifePoint provides meals, children's programming, and other resources to the refugee community.  LifePoint also partners with Trinity Karen Baptist Church and the Thai Church of Minnesota to engage with those in our community.

  • Small Groups

LifePoint Church is a family that values doing life together.  Small groups provide a place to grow, learn, and be in community with one another. Whether you are looking for a bible study or a parenting group we have a variety of groups you can plug into.

  • Vacation Bible School

This annual event provides opportunities for neighborhood kids to come together to learn about Jesus, grow in their faith, and have a blast building friendships together!  This year's VBS took place in June for all kids 3+.  Next year's VBS will take place June 8-12, 2020.

  • Youth & Young Adult Ministries

Connect with other youth and young adults by joining a small group or coming to the various special activities planned throughout the year. Feed My Starving Children and Operation Christmas Child are some examples. There are also church-wide activities like roller skating and football watching/pizza eating parties.
